Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello, who is known for eroticized aesthetics—has released a provocative teaser for the upcoming campaign featuring actress slash chanteuse Charlotte Gainsbourg and the model-of-the-moment Mica Argañaraz in a glittery haze. While dancing in a light-filled tunnel that could be easily mistaken for an entrance of a cool nightclub, the duo is dressed up in lavish garments and glitzy textiles from the glittering AW17 collection with emphasis on ‘80s inspired dresses, fully equipped with over-the-top shoulder pads and dangerously deep V cut dresses.
This black and white video amplifies the glam-but-grunge aesthetic of Saint Laurent and adds to the meaning of high-glamour, high-drama night out.
