KAWS created his artistic name by selecting random letters he liked. His graffiti, paintings and screen prints are remarkable, but his sculptures – distinguish him from the rest. Among his 3D works KAWS companions are the ultimate pop icon. They come in different versions, materials and sizes, but two things encompass all: they embody mixture of animation and frequent needs of commerce culture; and provoke questions. Those statues range from few inches to ten meters tall and are exposed in art-galleries, museums, squares, parks, airports and similar public spaces all around the world.
