What is metaphysics? The Florence-based designer Michele Durazzi tried to illustrate the answer is his 3D image project (“Was ist Metaphysik?” – original title) uniting architectural details and natural landscapes to create striking dreamlike cityscapes. The pictures are made in 3D without specific real references, and they follow a path in which the link between environment and humans become totally rooted out from what we used to live. Exploring the surreal minimalism, Durazzi builds poetic world between reality and fiction showing the moment when people and architecture meet and create something together. He contrasts scenes with made-up constructions and invites viewers to discover a reality of their own.
