Thomas Saraceno, is a contemporary artist best known for his interdisciplinary approach to art. His work of art can be seen as an going project, combining the worlds of art, architecture, and natural science.
Since 2008, has started research in his Berlin studio into woven habitats of spiders, born out of the interest in the origin of the cosmos and the structure of space-time. He possesses the only three-dimensional spider web collection in existence.
Now, he collaborates with 7000 spiders, who worked together for around 2.5 months, to make the impressive installation, largest-ever exhibited web in solo show opened this month at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires.
