One of the leading portrait photographs of his time, Philip Halesman (1906-1979), in addition to his brilliant career in photo journalism, Helsman is also a pioneer in experimental photography.
One of Hulsman’s favorite items was Salvador Dali, a romantic and controversial painter and theorist.
The collaboration of these artists turns into a book where are presented the icons mustache of Dali. On each side, questions are asked to which Salvador responds on his own way.

In one of the photographs Dali shows his self-irony where his mustach is in the form of a dollar sign, in response to the offending nickname “Avida Dollars”, invented by André Breton.

This combination of unreasonable spirituality and deep absurdity contributed to the lasting inspiration from which this photographic interview appeared, which has become a cult classic and valuable collectible material.
